I’m partnering with a well-established precision engineering business to appoint a Machine Shop Manager who can take ownership of a busy machining department and drive performance across people, process, and production.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants the autonomy to shape a department.
The Role
* Oversee day-to-day operations across CNC and manual machining
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled machinists
* Plan workloads, allocate jobs, and ensure on-time delivery
* Improve workflow, machine utilisation, and overall efficiency
* Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues quickly
* Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance
* Track KPIs, report performance, and implement improvements
