Job Title: Employment Solicitor / Associate (4–8+ PQE)

Role Summary:
The firm is looking to strengthen its Employment team in Birmingham due to sustained growth and increasing client demand. This is an opportunity to join a well-established, high-quality employment practice advising major household-name clients on complex and sensitive matters. The role would suit an ambitious Employment lawyer who values collaboration, variety of work, and long-term progression in a non-hierarchical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advising employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, giving you varied and high-quality exposure
• Supporting clients on strategic advisory work including restructures, senior exits, and sensitive grievances
• Handling discrimination, whistleblowing, and equal pay matters, building depth across complex employment issues
• Working closely with colleagues across locations, benefiting from a genuinely collaborative national team
• Contributing to the growth of the Birmingham employment offering as the team continues to expand
Requirements:
• Qualified Employment Solicitor at Associate level or above (mid-level PQE upwards)
• Strong experience advising employers rather than employee-led work
• Exposure to a wide range of employment matters across both contentious and advisory work
• A collaborative mindset with the ambition to grow alongside a scaling team
• Commercial, practical approach to client advice
