A welcoming and dynamic primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. Known for its warm, community-focused ethos, the school is committed to excellence in early childhood education.
Overview
As the EYFS Teacher, you will create a safe, inspiring environment where children feel confident and motivated to explore. You ll develop creative, hands-on activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of every child.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the EYFS framework
* Observe and assess children s progress and support their individual milestones
* Foster a classroom culture that encourages independence, exploration, and kindness
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, parents, and staff to support each child s development
* Maintain open and positive communication with families
* Participate in school initiatives, enrichment programs, and professional development
Who we’re looking for
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with Early Years specialism preferred
* Experience working in EYFS or nursery settings
* Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS statutory framework
* Creative, energetic, and patient approach to teaching
* Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply
