To find out more about NHS Ayrshire and Arran please visit our website - NHS Ayrshire & Arran - Home (nhsaaa.net) Position We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) looking for a new challenge to join our Community ANP Team. Based at East Ayrshire Community Hospital. What you will do: The role will require you to provide advanced levels of autonomous nursing practice to undertake physical assessment, diagnose and plan care or onward referral for people in your care. Alongside the clinical daily decision making, leadership and continuity of care this post will bring, the post holder will also work closely with the enhanced integrated care team, ANPs and acute hospital colleagues to support smooth transitions of care to and from home and hospital. For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job description Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: You must be registered nurse, a qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with MSc post grad qualification or equivalent in Advanced Practice or be able to evidence working at Advanced Practice Masters level. You will also have experience within an appropriate clinical environment and demonstrate experience of teaching/education of others. The successful candidate will be an independent non-medical prescriber. Applicants who partially meet the essential criteria will be considered for a trainee Band 7 (AfC Annex 21 applies) and where required, you will be provided with a programme of training during your initial period of employment, specifically around managing acutely unwell adult, physical health assessment, area specific training and completion of MSc Advanced Practice Diploma. Hours: This post is full time 5 days over 7. Driving Licence/Car Ownership : Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
