Job Description
New Directions is currently recruiting for a qualified Teaching Assistant, Level 2 or 3, who is looking for a temp to perm role in a special school. This excellent specialist setting is looking for a qualified member of staff to work with pupils with a range of additional & complex needs including: ASC & PMLD. This is a temp to perm role, meaning it will lead to a permanent contract.
The School:
1. Strong senior leadership team who create a supportive environment to work in
2. Specialist provision that caters for learners with ASC, PMLD & Complex Needs
3. Small tailored classes catered to the specific needs of the learner
The Role:
4. 1 to 1 support with students with ASC & PMLD
5. Engaging pupil in continuous provision – tailored to their needs
6. Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -4pm
The Candidate:
7. Holding a Teaching Assistant qualification – either Level 2 or 3
8. Ideally with recent experience working with SEND learners with Complex Needs. Ideally a driver as the school is based across two sites
