Position: Nursery Lead Practitioner Location: South Ockendon Salary Scale: £90-£135 per day Contract Type: Full-time

As the Nursery Lead, you will:
Oversee the daily running of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
Lead and inspire a team of practitioners, modelling outstanding early years practice.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning opportunities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Monitor children’s progress, keeping accurate records and working closely with parents and carers.
Take responsibility for safeguarding, wellbeing and health & safety across the setting.
Liaise with management and contribute to inspections, audits and development planning.
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years Education (essential).
Has at least 2 years of experience in a nursery or EYFS setting.
Demonstrates strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team.
Has an excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development.
Is passionate, organised, and committed to providing the highest standards of care and education.
