Shifts: Days (Mon-Thurs 8:00-16:30 Friday 7:00-12:30)

The role
You'll be setting and operating CNC lathes - producing quality components to drawing. You'll be trusted to modify programmes, manage tool changes and offsets, and take ownership of your own quality checks. It's hands-on, varied work in a facility that invests in doing things properly.
What you'll be doing
Set and operate CNC lathes across a range of materials and tolerances
Modify programmes and carry out tool changes and offsets
Read and interpret engineering drawings and route cards
Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
Contribute to TPM, 6S, SMED and lean activities on the shop floor
Maintain accurate production records, labels, and logs
Highlight improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with the team
What you'll bring
Essential:
Proven experience setting and operating CNC lathes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working in a production or quality-focused manufacturing environment
Comfortable carrying out tool changes, offsets, and first-off checks

Hourly rate of £15.36
All overtime paid at 1.5x rate
