A growing UK Sales & Marketing company is seeking a Finance Director to support a driven and ambitious Managing Director, acting as their right-hand strategic partner as the business prepares for rapid growth from its current £20m turnover.
£90,000 - £110,000 + £12,000 car allowance + bonus to 25%
The Finance Director will bring commercial acumen, financial insight, and strategic challenge to help shape the company’s direction and ensure a strong financial foundation for its next stage of expansion.
The role offers full ownership of the finance, HR, and logistics functions, providing a rare opportunity to combine board-level influence with day-to-day operational leadership. Key Responsibilities
* Lead all financial, HR, and logistics operations and strategy
* Partner with the Managing Director to shape business direction and deliver growth plans
* Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to guide decision-making
* Oversee statutory reporting, compliance, and audit processes
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial controls
* Drive commercial performance and profitability through data-led insight
* Oversee supplier relationships, procurement, and contract management
* Lead and develop a capable finance team, fostering collaboration and accountability
* Present to the board on financial performance, risk, and strategic initiatives
* Implement and enhance systems, processes, and controls to support scalability
About You
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
* Proven experience as the financial lead within an SME or divisional environment
* Commercially focused, with a track record of driving growth and profitability
* Confident influencing senior stakeholders and operating as a true business partner
* Hands-on, and comfortable balancing strategy with day-to-day delivery
* Strong leadership skills, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach
