Job Summary
We are looking for an HCA in the Anaesthetic Pre-Assessment Unit to join our friendly team on a permanent basis. You will work effectively as a member of the team to facilitate the smooth running of the pre-assessment by providing administrative and clinical support. Minimum requirements: 1 year’s experience, excellent attendance record, and time management. Phlebotomy and ECG competency is desirable.
Main Duties of the Job
* Meet and greet the patients in the department and manage their care in the treatment room, ensuring patient dignity, respect and confidentiality.
* Accurately document outcomes from the appointment and update electronic records.
* Provide phlebotomy and ECG service.
* Provide the pre-assessment team with consumables and equipment.
* Ensure the treatment room is clean and tidy.
* Clean, date check and stock up trolleys and shelves.
