Care Support Worker – Help People Live Their Best Lives Every Day
Peabody is seeking compassionate and reliable Care Support Workers to support people to live independently, confidently and with dignity. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll make a genuine difference every day.
You’ll support individuals with daily routines, personal care and health needs, while encouraging choice, independence and community involvement. You may help people access activities, pursue interests or provide calm reassurance when needed. You’ll build positive relationships with residents, families and professionals, help maintain safe and welcoming homes, complete accurate records, and contribute to reviews, meetings and high‑quality care standards.
We’re looking for someone with a kind, person‑centred approach, good communication skills and the resilience to support people through both everyday and challenging situations. You’ll need to work well as part of a team, respect diversity and individual needs, manage records confidently and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and unsocial hours.
Previous care or support experience is welcome but not essential, as full training is provided. A Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not required.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and operates on a 24/7 rota, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Reliable transport is required due to limited public transport links, and a full, clean manual UK driving licence is essential.
To apply, please submit an anonymised CV and a short supporting statement. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis and no later than w/c 1 June 2026
