Authorisation Caseworker - Level 3 Contract Type Permanent Working Pattern Full time - flexible working may be considered Working Hours 35 hours Salary £33,405.38 Location Options Birmingham with part of the week working from home Function Type Administration and Business Support We are recruiting for Authorisation Caseworkers - Level 3 (internally known as Authorisation Officer - Level 3), on a permanent or fixed term basis of 12 months across our Centres of Excellence in Authorisation. The Authorisation function of the SRA is one of the largest operational teams within the organisation. As an Authorisation Caseworker you will assist in delivering the team's regulatory objectives and make sure that the associated processes meet the relevant service levels and key performance indicators. You will make complex regulatory decisions on a full range of applications for firms and/or individuals that are entering the legal services market. Using our CRM system, you will also be comfortable working with data to ensure information platforms are efficient and kept up to date. What we are looking for: Experience of making high risk and complex decisions in a timely manner. Detailed understanding of casework processes, with a customer focused passion for identifying improvements and efficiencies. Someone who can work collaboratively by confidently explaining rules and requirements to others and share experience, knowledge, and expertise. Experience of proactively dealing with demanding customers. Experience of supporting and mentoring colleagues across the wider directorate on procedural/technical queries and provide both positive/constructive feedback. Experience of designing and delivering training and understand quality assurance measures. Experience of navigating and editing a CRM system with a focus on data integrity. Someone who takes accountability for prioritising workload with a high level of attention to detail. Someone with excellent communication skills and a focus on delivering excellent customer service. This is a hybrid role and will be based in our Birmingham office up to two days a week, and from home the rest of the week. Our working hours are 35 hours per week.
