Collect and deliver raw material / finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collect and deliver raw material / finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner;
2. Complete daily raw collection sheet, daily vehicle safety inspection sheet and required vehicle cleaning records;
3. Keep all documentation in a presentable manner and return signed to office as required;
4. Forklift driving as well as loading and unloading of lorries.
The Person:
5. Full and current UK Driving Licence with HGV Class 1 Licence;
6. Excellent communication skills;
7. Experience of driving artic lorries;
8. No more than 3 penalty points on licence;
9. Excellent geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland and Ireland road network;
10. Valid CPC Card.
Preference will be given to those with:
11. Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Hours of work are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday with variable start and finish times on a four week rotation as outlined below:
12. North Run: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
13. South Run: 1 day per week: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 4 days per week: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM, (10:30 AM starts when deliveries require)
14. Donegal Late Run: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (10:30 AM starts when deliveries require)
15. Donegal Early Run: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
