CNC Programmer (Aerospace / 5‑Axis)
Location: Lurgan, Northern Ireland
Syntech Recruitment is working with a high‑precision manufacturing business based close to Lurgan to appoint a CNC Programmer specialising in complex aerospace components.
Hours
* Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
* Friday: 07:00 – 12:00
Package
* £45,000 – £50,000 DOE
* Early finish every Friday

Responsibilities
* Offline CNC programming for 3, 4 and 5‑axis machining centres using CAM software
* Develop and optimise machining strategies across materials including aluminium and titanium
* Select and implement efficient tooling packages for each component
* Design and develop fixtures and workholding solutions
* Liaise with external programming subcontractors where required
Requirements
* Experience in offline CNC programming using CAM software (e.g. Mastercam or similar)
* Strong understanding of multi‑axis machining (3, 4 and 5‑axis)
* Background in aerospace or high‑precision engineering environments
* Experience machining materials such as aluminium and titanium
* Ability to develop and improve manufacturing processes and efficiency
* Understanding of controls (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain – desirable)
