* Salary: SCP 4-5, £19,314 - £20,291 actual pa (£25,185 - £25,989 FTE)
* Permanent
* Part Time
* 33 hours per week
* Term time + 1 week
* Required ASAP

Wymondham College Prep School is looking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has an energy and interest in working with pupils who have Specials Education Needs and Disabilities. You will be expected to lead and deliver personalised learning provision for a range of learners, working with small groups of children and/or in a 1:2:1 capacity. You will be relentless in trying to close gaps in children's subject knowledge and skills and ensure the children you work with can access a curriculum.

THE POST

We are looking for a positive, caring and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join the team at Wymondham College Prep School on a permanent basis. The role will support the complement the professional work of teachers as directed.

The successful candidate will:

* Have previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and have evidence of professional growth having received training in a range of different academic, SEND and social & emotional areas of child development;
* Be committed to the school's high standards of teaching, learning and professional development;
* Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring disposition and a good sense of humour;
* Understand the importance of an inclusive environment, supporting pupils to follow the school's Good Choice Mantras - 'Do the Right Thing / Make a Difference / Value Every Voice';
* Have a nurturing and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism and compassion.
