Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join the management team at our Land Rover Dealership in Hereford.
The hours of work are Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week. The salary includes an OTE of £65,000 and the use of a company car.
You will be expected to achieve sales targets for new and used cars and assist the sales team in offering comprehensive support for all vehicle financing and insurance requirements. The successful candidate will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Grow all aspects of sales gross profit, specialising in finance, insurance, and value-added products.
2. Advise customers on finance, insurance, warranties, and other services offered by our dealerships.
3. Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations to ensure an industry-leading buying experience. Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
4. Support the sales team in daily operations, including customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, vehicle preparation, and stock management.
5. Drive the sales process and support the team in achieving monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to meet sales and profit forecasts.
6. Accurately complete all paperwork and provide reports on sales activities for forecasting purposes.
7. Ensure the sales team collects all customer contact and vehicle data to maximize database quality, adhering to FCA obligations.

3. You demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering results and exceptional customer satisfaction.
4. You possess strong management and leadership skills, a winning mentality, and a passion for the brand.
5. Experience in the motor trade, automotive, or car dealership is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
