The Role:
The role is to support the Venue Manager with the day-to-day operations of Crewe Market Hall, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will work closely with the Venue Manager to programme evening entertainment and promote the venue using social media. You are expected to take ownership of the site when working, assuming responsibilities in the Venue Manager's absence, leading the on-site team, ensuring health and safety practices are followed, and providing the best customer experience.
This role suits a proactive individual eager for new challenges, confident in using social media, and able to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis.


Key Duties:

* Assume the manager's responsibilities in their absence
* Support daily operations at Crewe Market Hall
* Lead the team on duty and coordinate with third-party suppliers to ensure excellent customer service
* Create schedules and resolve conflicts to maintain proper staffing during peak hours
* Act as a point of contact for vendors at Crewe Market Hall
* Assist with planning and delivering events throughout the year
* Support weekly entertainment and events delivery
* Promote and attract customers to Crewe Market Hall
* Develop relationships with street food vendors, supporting their growth and maintaining communication
* Act as a keyholder, ensuring safe opening and closing, and be on-call as needed
* Follow health and safety policies and meet food hygiene standards


About You:

* Have hospitality and leisure management experience
* Be confident with social media, photography, and customer engagement
* Be adaptable to operational challenges
* Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
* Be passionate about supporting small food businesses
* Work towards targets within deadlines
* Maintain a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
40 hours per week, with holiday and weekend availability essential.
