English Supply Teacher – Secondary

• Start date: September 2025 or sooner
The School and Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable English Supply Teachers to support a variety of secondary schools across Southampton and nearby areas. Whether you’re seeking full-time consistency, flexible part-time hours, or day-to-day cover, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll be delivering engaging, pre-planned English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, helping maintain learning continuity and pupil progress. This role is perfect for experienced English teachers and ECTs looking to develop their classroom practice across a range of school environments.
Requirements
The desired teacher will have:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. A degree in English or a related subject
3. Experience teaching English at KS3 and/or KS4
4. A passion for literacy and pupil progress
5. The ability to quickly build rapport and work collaboratively
