Clinical Advisor (part time) – Leicester

We are looking for a Clinical Advisor to join us part-time (2 – 3 days a week), permanent basis covering hospitals within Leicester and surrounding areas.
Your Role:
As a Clinical Advisor, you will provide clinical support, training, education and advice to customers and our business to ensure the correct products are installed to meet individual patient needs.
You will work closely with the Harm Free Care team, Tissue Viability, Manual Handling, and trust staff at all levels both clinical and non clinical supporting specific projects, specific patients / patient groups and specific requests.
In this role you will:
1. Support the delivery of Medstrom services within the contracted accounts (hospitals) within Leicester and other surrounding areas
2. Grow rental revenue within your allocated contract(s) by identifying opportunities for new products and services that will benefit patient outcomes
3. Promote and support new technologies and encourage use
4. Support product evaluations and feedback outcomes
5. Ability to comfortably and confidently demonstrate the equipment in the portfolio and explain the key clinical benefits of each product and calmly handle any objections
6. Take a proactive, strategic and creative approach to training supported by a solid communication plan
7. Train Trust staff on the equipment from overview level through to authorised trainer level with supporting documentation
8. Act as a trusted advisor and provide on-going clinical support
This role would be working 2-3 days a week, hours and days can be discussed at interview. There will be a need at times to work evenings and weekends to support staff on these shift patterns.
Experience Needed:
To be considered as a Clinical Advisor, you will need:
9. Essential: Current Registered Nurse qualification
10. Essential: Experience of working on wards and within an NHS environment
11. Essential: Experience of providing Clinical training at various levels
12. Essential: Tissue viability experience
13. Desirable: Previous experience working within a commercial organisation would be advantageous
14. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate with people at all levels
15. An organised and methodical approach with the ability to organise your own workload effectively
16. Ability to build and maintain solid trusted relationships
17. Solid organisational and administrative skills
18. Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel
19. Essential: A full, valid UK driving licence
