We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Team Leader to join our sustainability and social value team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys leading people, and is committed to delivering excellent service. Reporting to our Head of Sustainability, the ideal candidate will lead a small team of social value co-ordinators, who plan and carry out environmental and social initiatives in line with our ESG strategy and our customers' objectives. The role is based in our offices in Doncaster, with travel required to client and community sites. Duties & Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team responsible for carrying out and reporting on environmental and social value activities with both internal and external stakeholders. Work with other managers across the business to achieve ESG targets. Engage with educational settings, charities, and other third-party organisations to push engagement with our initiatives across a wider setting. Measure and assess meaningful impact initiatives through our established GROWW Sustainability Framework. Build engagement at all levels for volunteering opportunities. Work closely with the marketing team on internal and external comms to engage our colleagues, clients, customers and communities. Support client teams in presentations and input into tenders and proposals. Essential Attributes High levels of organisation; prioritising, coordinating and managing a varied workload whilst working to deadlines. Strong people management, motivation and coaching skills. Excellent presentation skills and confident speaking to stakeholders at all levels. A compassionate and empathetic person who can adapt language and tone to people from various community groups. Flexibility to travel where required to meet the needs of commitments and initiatives.
