Vacancy for a reliable and warm receptionist to join our team at Harbour Care Centre.
Harbour is a modern, purpose-built care home, recently redecorated throughout, offering leading nursing & dementia care and short-term respite care.
The Receptionist is the first point of contact within the home, ensuring that professional, high-quality customer care is delivered consistently and providing dependable support to the home manager and administrator.
Vacancy for a person who is ready to work 15 hours per week with alternate weekends.
Main Responsibilities:
* Welcome and greet visitors to the home in a professional and courteous manner
* Answer the telephone and respond to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly
* Provide additional administration support to the home manager daily, mainly HR-related duties, ensuring strict confidentiality
* Respond to emergency situations as requested by the home
* Maintain tidiness of the reception area, liaising with housekeeping to uphold standards
Person Specification:
* IT literacy – competent with systems
* Professional telephone manner
* Knowledge of general administration
* Should be from the UK only
* Good communication skills and a great team player
* Neat and well-presented
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and the first point of contact for visitors, greeting them politely. Duties include organizing inbound/outbound mail, administrative tasks, and clerical support.
