The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Workshop Team Supervisor, the Electro-Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for all the mechanical & electrical fitting/support of new and existing equipment design integrations, including production support activities into the manufacturing environment throughout its life cycle.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
* Electrical / Mechanical assembly of machines following company standards to ensure machine completion is of a high standard
* Assisting in testing machines as required, following test procedures
* Machining of parts as and when required (Mill usage preferred)
* Completing modifications as necessary and ensuring all documentation is completed on time and to the company standards
* Assisting with machine breakdown, packing, and installation support as and when required
What you need to succeed:
* Engineering qualification essential with Apprenticeship preferred
* Electro – Mechanical fitting knowledge and experience
* Self-motivated individual
* Good communication skills
* Team player
* Previous experience in a similar role/knowledge of packaging equipment preferred
