EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: East Ayton, North Yorkshire
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP / January 2026
GSL Education are welcoming applications for a caring EYFS Teaching Assistant to support early learners in a specialist setting in East Ayton. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys creative, play-based learning and supporting children with emerging developmental needs.

Responsibilities
* Engage pupils in early phonics, number work and sensory play
* Support structured routines to maintain a calm environment
* Encourage early language development and communication
* Assist teachers with planning and resource preparation
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Requirements
* Experience within EYFS or nursery settings
* Knowledge of early SEND needs
* Warm, patient and child-centred
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
