Senior Risk & Compliance Officer
Top European Intellectual Property Firm is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Officer on a part-time basis. This is a newly established position and will report directly to the Managing Partner of the London office. A brilliant opportunity for someone to take ownership and responsibility for ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management across the firm.
* Salary to £60,000 (FTE)
* Part-time (3 days per week)

Senior Risk & Compliance Officer Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the firm’s regulatory requirements, ensure compliance, and manage the relationships with external regulating bodies
* Work with several different stakeholders from different areas of the business to ensure streamlined and best practice processes are in place
* Review processes for client onboarding including AML, conflicts, and due diligence
* Handle the professional indemnity insurance – maintain detailed records, ensure compliance as well as acting as the main point of contact
* Maintain the risk register – ensure mitigations are in place and being delivered on as well as assessing any new risks
* Establish and manage standardised templates, systems, terms of business and processes
* Design and deliver risk and compliance training for all employees
Senior Risk & Compliance Officer Skills & Requirements:
* Previous experience within a dedicated Risk & Compliance role
* A strong working understanding and knowledge of risk, compliance, client onboarding and AML regulations and requirements
* Experience in IP would be advantageous
* Happy working autonomously in a busy role
