Overview
To lead the CRM and Cath lab physiology team, contributing positively to the leadership of the whole Cardiac Physiology team, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe delivery of CRM and Cardiac Cath Lab services including implants and follow-up. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of cardiology investigations performed throughout the trust. The department is undergoing rapid growth and transformation in the next few years and is ready to further develop. Workforce planning initiatives have identified staff training and development needs which dovetail into the Cardiology 5‑year plan.
Responsibilities
* Lead the CRM and Cath lab physiology team and support the growth of the cardiac physiology service.
* Ensure safe delivery of cardiology investigations performed throughout the trust.
* Support rapid growth and transformation of the department in line with the Cardiology 5‑year plan.
* Identify staff training and development needs as part of workforce planning initiatives.
* Maintain and improve service delivery standards in collaboration with Cardiology Consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
Opportunities

Cardiac Physiology is an ambitious and enthusiastic team supported by equally ambitious Cardiology Consultants. We strive to deliver high quality care to all patients, providing a wide range of investigations including ambulatory monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, 3D TOE, stress testing, DSE, 24/7 PPCI, Cath Lab, IVUS, FFR, brady and complex CRM service. The department is experiencing exciting changes with the build of two new cath labs and the development of an EP service.
