As a Relief Senior Care and Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in promoting dignity, respecting human rights, and supporting individuals to live rich and fulfilling lives. You'll work in a dynamic environment that requires both planning and adaptability.
Due to the nature of the service, flexibility is also important to enhance the team's ability to deliver care as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the shift and ensure the health and safety of residents and staff.
* Administer medication and coordinate with GP or nurse visits.
* Delegate tasks and support staff effectively.
* Provide personal care and emotional support to residents.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
* Support residents' social, spiritual, recreational, and educational needs.
What We're Looking For:
* A minimum of a Level 2 Diploma in Social Care.
* Commitment to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Social Care (full support and training provided).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
