GSL Education are seeking a passionate and engaging Teacher of Geography to join a thriving school in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who can bring physical and human geography to life, develop students’ analytical skills, and inspire curiosity about the planet and its people.
Role Responsibilities of Geography Teacher:
* Plan and deliver stimulating Geography lessons across Key Satges.
* Teach key geographical concepts, fieldwork, map skills, and environmental issues.
* Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and independent learning.
* Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic development.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practice.
What You’ll Bring as a Geography Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Geography within a school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make Geography engaging and relevant.
* Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
