Field Engineer – Gas Leak Detection Systems
A specialist engineering provider is seeking a Field Engineer to install, service and maintain gas monitoring and control systems across commercial and industrial sites.
This is a mobile role covering locations throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities for the Field Engineer:

Installation, servicing and maintenance of leak detection and monitoring systems.
*
Fault finding, testing and commissioning of equipment, including alarms and communications
*
Control panel wiring, on-site modifications and technical troubleshooting.
*
Planned preventative maintenance visits.
*
Providing basic system training to customers on-site.
Typical environments include installations for supermarkets, food production sites, cold storage facilities, commercial premises and many more.
Candidate Requirements for the Field Engineer:
*
Field-based engineering experience with electro-mechanical equipment.
*
Basic electrical knowledge.
*
CSCS card.
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
*
Good IT skills and clear communication.
Desirables for the ideal Field Engineer:
*
17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification
*
F-Gas certification
*
Experience in monitoring systems
