At Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy, we are looking to recruit a Teacher of Technology to:

* Develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students.
* Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students following courses they teach.

The successful candidate will:

* Demonstrates a proactive and passionate approach to teaching a broad spectrum of technologies, including Hospitality and Catering, Textiles, and Product Design.
* Be committed to delivering engaging and high-quality learning experiences that inspire students and foster creativity, practical skills, and innovation across disciplines.

The Technology department at Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy are a welcoming, dynamic team of dedicated teachers. Our departmental staff have excellent working relationships with each other and a history of supporting and working with ITT providers. We strive to ensure that all of students have the scientific knowledge and skills to access their chosen future destinations by offering a broad, well sequenced curriculum from KS3 to KS5. This is a supportive environment in which to work, and the team are always looking to enhance their skills, creativity and competencies in the teaching and learning of Technology.

Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy is an exciting and dynamic place to work. We are an oversubscribed secondary academy with over 1400 students on roll at Key Stages 3-5.
