Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Administrator to join our Learning Team on a fixed term contract for a period of 18 months. This role is part of the Learning Team, who are responsible for learning events, onboarding new colleagues and maintaining our learning management system, amongst many other things. Hybrid Working – We deliver a fantastic mix of face to face and virtual learning events and the successful candidate would therefore be willing to work both remotely and from Cumberland House as and when required to support the Learning & Development team. You’ll be given the tools and equipment you need to be able to work from home when you need to. The Role As our Learning & Development Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of administration associated with the Learning Team are completed within agreed timescales and with a high degree of accuracy, including: Assisting with all elements of event administration. This includes promotion of learning events, arranging hospitality, room layout and equipment, liaising with trainers/partners, booking rooms, printing and distributing course materials and ensuring required equipment is available and in working order. Developing and maintaining accurate and easily accessible records for all events and through this, supporting the provision of management information and budget tracking. Generating reports from our Learning Management System when required. Assisting with the evaluation of learning initiatives, including, ensuring evaluation forms are completed and returned following learning events and feeding back results to the team. Registering colleagues for external courses and qualifications Developing and maintaining positive, collaborative working relationships with all colleagues to sustain the reputation of the wider People & Culture team as a customer focused function. About You We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational and time‑management skills. You’ll manage competing priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines reliably. You’ll be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing. You’ll be adaptable and pro-active, flexible in responding to changing needs and proactive in spotting improvements. You’ll be a great team-worker, collaborating effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders. We would love to hear from you if you have the following experience and skills: Working in a fast paced, customer focussed environment. Events planning and coordination Data analysis and information reporting Providing support to meetings and events to enable them to run effectively.
