Housekeeping Assistant at HC One
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, demonstrating your excellent attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although full training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organisational skills, along with a positive attitude and the ability to get along with people. Strong communication skills, including listening and giving instructions, are essential. All communication with residents and colleagues should be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We offer full training and a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
