Job Title: Lube Technician/Certified Lube Technician
Reports To: Shop Manager

Position Overview
The Lube Technician role at Quick Lube of Carolina LLC / Take 5 Oil Change is an entry-level position designed to familiarize new team members with our service standards, procedures, and customer-focused philosophy. This position serves as the foundation for advancement, with certification as a Certified Technician expected within 45 days of hire.
In this role, you will learn and assist with our Full-Service Oil Change process, perform routine vehicle maintenance, and deliver fast, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
Key Responsibilities
* Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures for oil changes and related services
* Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow
* Provide an exceptional and professional customer experience
* Complete required Rally Point training modules to achieve Certified Technician status
Certification Path:
As a Certified Technician, you will:
* Demonstrate proficiency in all positions involved in the Full-Service oil change
* Uphold standards of integrity, efficiency, and transparency
* Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service
* Support team performance and mentor new technicians
Qualifications/ Physical Requirements
* No prior automotive experience required; full training provided
* Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
* Dependable attendance and punctuality
* Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment
* Must be able to stand for extended periods
* Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit safely
* Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
* Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
* Alertness and situational awareness in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Reliable transportation
