Overview
Our Engineering firm based on Aldridge Industrial Estate are urgently looking for an experienced part time Bookkeeper to join our small office team. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities
* Booking in deliveries and posting Supplier Invoices
* Sending customer invoices and posting payments
* Payables and receivables ledger management
* Credit Control
* Bank Reconciliation
* Sending remittances and statements
* Liaising with external Accountants for year end prep
* HMRC compliance
* Occasional ad hoc duties such as answering phones
Qualifications / Person Specification
* Must have strong experience with Sage 50 Accounts
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
* Invoice Finance experience is a plus
* Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
* AAT qualification desired but not essential
* Be immediately available
Hours and Salary
Hours available are currently 14 a week to be worked over 2 days with a choice of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Working hours are 8.30am to 15.30pm. Salary is £13.00 to £14.50 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications.
