What you’ll be doing

as a Supply Chain Administrator
1. Provide support to the Supply Chain Inventory team on daily tasks.
2. Support expediting of supplier purchase orders to ensure the timely delivery of spares.
3. Monitor and manage the supply chain email inbox to ensure timely action and resolution to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Create and maintain system master data.
5. Generic admin and data input duties.
6. Liaise with Operations Admin to provide insight of daily deliveries.
7. Support team with regular reporting requirements.
8. Processing of orders through SAP.
9. Ensuring all supplier arrears have an up-to-date ETA.
10. Liaising with Operations, Inbound Problem resolution, and working with suppliers to prevent recurrence.
11. Request order pull forwards where there is a predicted stock out before the next planned delivery.
12. Manage customer queries and complaints relating to spares, job orders/requirements.
13. Create and maintain material master data to ensure smooth supply chain operation.
14. Housekeeping of master data.
15. Work across the Supply Chain & Inventory Operations team to review Out of Hours call-out requests to understand the trigger and build in continuous improvement within this key process to support our SI3 commitments.

What you should bring to the role

16. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
17. Passionate about understanding customers and their needs.
18. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
19. Excellent project and time management skills.
20. Exceptional attention to detail.
21. Familiar with MS Office. (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
22. Organisation and Time Management.

What’s in it for you?

23. Hourly Pay rate: Range between £13.35 to £14.42 per hour.
24. Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire.
25. Length of assignment: 12 months.
26. Required Start date: 17/11/2025.
27. Hours: 36 hours per week.
28. Please note you will be on assignment at Thames Water via Pertemps.
