We are hiring a Yard Person to support the business by maitining a claen, safe and well organised yard area. The key duties will be : Carrying out all general yard duties including sweeping, cleaning and maintaining external areas. Managing general waste streams, including organising skips, segregating waste and supporting recycling. Operating a forklift to move materials, pallets, bins and goods safely around site. Loading and unloading deliveries as required. Ensuring the yard is kept tidy, safe and accessible at all times. Supporting production and warehouse teams with outdoor or yard-based tasks. Recording movement of goods, waste, or equipment where required. * Any other duties as required to fulfil the company needs. What you'll need to succeed: You should have previous experience in a yard/desptch environment, possess a valid forklift licence, ability to work outsoors in varying weather conditions and can take ownership for driving continuous improvement in the role. You must have good organisational skills with strong attention to detail. You should be able to work independently whilst being a good team player working cross functionally with all departments.
