Job Purpose & Scope Reporting to the FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodity) Manager in the team, the Global Credit performance analyst works closely with the COOs/Business Managers of this activity and is responsible for the reporting and analysis of the monthly performance indicators for his/her business activities as well as the elaboration of the budget for his/her business activities. Key Responsibilities Performance Management Reporting: Point of contact for all Finance related matters pertaining to his/her activity / teams within Global MarketsAnalyse key financials including revenues, headcount, expenses, and allocation keys with a focus on meaningful analytics the Business can rely on for strategic decisions. Analysis and comments include variance analysis vs. budgets / internal targets, highlighting trends, and following up on questions and/or concerns. Provide pro-active analysis and comments on all finance process and data when possible.Provide impacting commentary on P&L evolution to Finance Management, including Client Contributions to understand key business driversEnsure the constant accuracy of the Business Profitability data as well as the production of the monthly Business Review as well as Cost and Headcount reports Ensure complete and adequate controls on Management reporting production process and related documentation (define controls required on internal management reporting so that issues are detected, analysed, resolved with both corrective and preventive actions defined)Ensure Performance Management system updates are aligned with Business specificities and expectation, including Budget Transfers and Business reorganizations.Provide Ad hoc analysis requested by activity heads or Performance Management or Head Office Assist the CIB Transfer Pricing Team to ensure the consistency of the TP invoice calculation with Business Organisation; provide the requested data and make the required checks to validate the TP calculation Budget Process In charge of the production of the budget for his/her activity / teams within Global MarketsAnalyse figures and trends, resolving differences. This includes:Collection of data for Revenues / Costs / Headcount;Make sure the information is relevant and consistent; Revenues / Costs / Headcount data must be reconciled and aligned with the Business set-upEnsure the information is reflected in the central systems accordinglyHelp prepare Senior Management presentations Help his/her activity / teams 'navigate' through the budget period as efficiently as possible Business Partnering Develop analysis tools to assist the Business heads to facilitate the management of the activityMaintain an active dialogue with the business in liaison with other Finance teams on instructions, methodologies and analysis of actuals and budget. Reply to questions from Business Management, Finance Management, Head Office Performance Management, etc. with accurate and timely responses.Investigate profitability and expense issues discovered during analysis or communicated by business management and propose and implement solutions.Prepare ad hoc analytical reports and other presentations to aid Finance and Business senior management in decision making.
