Panthera Partners is working exclusively with the energy portfolio company of an international PE mid-cap fund to hire an Investment Associate, for their London team. The platform develops, invests in, and manages complex energy projects across emerging markets. With a significant pool of capital, the Investment Team are continuing to invest and urgently need to hire an Associate. The Associate will play a key role supporting with the origination, execution and management of investments. You will be responsible for evaluating new and existing investments, building models, supporting due diligence and working with existing investee companies to add value. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded investment banking/corporate finance professional to join a lean and experienced team where you will have strong deal exposure. Interested candidates must: Be sitting at a Senior Analyst/Junior Associate position within either an investment bank, advisory firm or fund Have a good understanding of the energy/infrastructure market with proven deal experience Possess an excellent skill set with ability and experience in building financial models from scratch Have experience conducting valuations using DCF, precedent transactions, and trading comparables Be comfortable reviewing and interpreting commercial agreements, such as PPAs, EPCs, shareholder and financing documentation Hold a mathematics, finance, engineering or equivalent degree from a well-regarded university A chartered accountancy or CFA qualification is desirable Panthera Partners is a specialist in the Infrastructure, Energy Transition, and Climate investment and finance market.
