Job Title: Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000- £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

GSL Education are currently looking to appoint a passionate and skilled Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school based in Southampton.
As a MFL Teacher, you will motivate students to develop language skills and cultural understanding through immersive and interactive foreign language lessons. This role is ideal for someone committed to delivering engaging language lessons and promoting cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher:
* Prepare and teach effective French and/or Spanish lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Adapt teaching methods to suit varied learning styles and abilities.
* Encourage students to build confidence and fluency in spoken and written language.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Foster an inclusive and enthusiastic classroom environment.
Candidate Requirements for MFL Teacher:
* Applications are welcome from QTS holders, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and those with suitable overseas teaching qualifications.
* Proven experience teaching French and/or Spanish in UK schools.
* Strong classroom management and effective communication skills.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A detailed CV covering the past 10 years with all gaps clearly explained.
