SEN Teaching Assistant - Woolwich - Full-time, ongoing.
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, looking for a full-time role?
SENCare Recruitment is currently seeking teaching assistant's to support students with autism and severe learning difficulties.
The ideal Teaching Assistant must have:
* At least 6 months experience supporting students with Autism and complex needs.
* A clear DBS on the update service
* Some PECs and Makaton experience
* Experience with children aged 4-19
* Moving and handling experience
* A compassionate and fun attitude towards work
Main duties:
* Providing 1-1 support for vulnerable children with their schoolwork
* As Teaching Assistant you will work closely with other members of staff to ensure all safeguarding procedures are met to ensure the safety of the children is not compromised.
* To liaise with senior members of staff to ensure all sensory expectations are met for each individual child.
* 1-1 and small group support
