As a Teaching Assistant at Oakham Shires, you will support students in reaching their full academic potential by providing tailored assistance within a classroom setting. You will ensure students understand their tasks and have all necessary resources, adapting to their individual needs.
Who we are looking for
We seek enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate staff dedicated to helping SEN students achieve their potential. Candidates should have GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English. The role involves working with students to meet their Education Health Care Plan outcomes, empowering them with essential life skills.
* UK Driving licence is required for supervising local outings.
* Experience with autistic spectrum disorders and challenging behavior is highly desirable.
* Experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.
