Engineering Administrative Assistant
We have an opportunity for an Engineering Administrative Assistant to join our team within the Engineering organisation at Honeywell, in Yeovil, where you will play a vital role in supporting the Engineering Directors, the Engineering Leadership team and the cross-functional engineering team.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency of our engineering operations by providing essential administrative support, managing schedules, and facilitating communication among team members and stakeholders across the engineering team. You will provide day-to-day support to a wide range of requests from across the team which results in a varied and dynamic work environment. Typical responsibilities will also include facilitating Purchase Orders as required, managing the regular update of command media for audit compliance, contributing and organising employee engagement events, facilitating the resolution of infrastructure issues with vendors and conference room management. Your contributions will ensure smooth operations and effective communication across the various engineering teams.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the Directors and the cross-functional Engineering Leadership team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings and addressing a variety of daily requests to facilitate the smooth running of the organisation.
2. Purchase Order generation
3. Prepare and organise documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Coordinate the update of command media documentation to ensure audit compliance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
5. Experience in an administrative support role, preferably within an engineering or technical environment.
6. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
