Funding opportunities include scholarship, bursary and loan programmes, international schemes and central financial assistance funding.

The Student Funding Administrator will support the administration of Oxford's financial assistance schemes and programmes of study abroad, through the provision of funding for international placements.

What We Offer

Working at the University of Oxford offers several exclusive benefits, such as:

* 38 days of annual leave (inclusive of public holidays) to support your wellbeing, with the option to purchase up to 10 extra days and additional leave after long service.
* One of the most generous family leave schemes in UK higher education, offering up to 26 weeks of full-pay maternity and adoption leave, plus 12 weeks of full-pay paternity/partner leave.
* A commitment to hybrid and flexible working to suit your lifestyle.
* An excellent contributory pension scheme.
* Affordable and sustainable commuting options, including a cycle loan scheme, discounted bus travel, and season ticket loans.
* Access to a vibrant community through our social, cultural, and sports clubs.

About the Role

The postholder will be responsible for administering central financial assistance provision alongside other members of the team, assessing and administering grants to students in financial difficulty, working closely with colleges to facilitate this. This includes for support for care-experienced and estranged students who may require additional funding.

In parallel, the role will support the administration of funding for international placements as part of the University's programmes of activity abroad (including the Turing scheme). Working with a range of colleagues across the collegiate University, the postholder will collate student documentation and issue grant funding in line with funding agency requirements.

The postholder will handle enquiries from students and staff on a range of funding issues for the schemes outlined above and provide assistance with navigating entitlement.

The postholder will also be responsible for co-ordinating weekly payment processes for all funds administered within the on-course funding section, supporting scheme administrators with monitoring these.
