Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join a popular SEMH provision in St Helens. This particular role is for a Teaching Assistant, who is experienced in working with students across the school, aged 11 - 16. You will be required to support staff and students within the school and help re-engage young people who are struggling with their education. This position will be ideal for a recent graduate or for someone with teaching assistant experience who is looking to gain more experience in a classroom environment before perhaps embarking on a PGCE. You will be working with small groups of students to provide intervention support and help within the classroom. As a teaching assistant you will help the teacher maintain a calm and consistent learning environment.
