You’ll be supporting a young man with complex learning disabilities and epilepsy. He does not communicate with words, but he’s expressive, smiley, and enjoys engaging with people who bring warmth and positivity. His interests include swimming, listening to all kinds of music, comedy shows and movies, church on Sundays, and coffee mornings on Fridays. He leads a busy and fulfilling life, and your support will help him continue to enjoy the things he loves.
What You Will Be Doing
* Providing personal care and using hoists
* Supporting a wheelchair user with mobility and comfort
* Preparing meals and administering medication (including Buccal)
* Ensuring safety and wellbeing throughout the day and night
* Building a strong, trusting relationship with him and his family
* Supporting his routines and helping him engage in his favourite activities
* Immediate Reviews: Applications are reviewed upon receipt and interviews will continue until positions are filled.
