We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to support both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
* Install, manage, and monitor network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
* Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems.
* Perform network troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues.
* Monitor network traffic, capacity, and performance using appropriate tools.
* Apply security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls.
* Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to support business operations.
* Document network designs, configurations, and procedures.
* Support disaster recovery and backup solutions for network continuity.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
* Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP) preferred.
* Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
* Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar equipment.
* Experience with firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and wireless technologies.
* Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: £170.00-£180.00 per day
