We are looking for a People Coordinator to join our People Services team, supporting the delivery of efficient and high-quality HR operations across the business. This role will play an important part in ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience by providing expert support across core HR processes and the wider employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will help ensure that HR activities are delivered accurately, consistently and in line with company policy and employment legislation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong HR coordination or advisory experience who enjoys working with people, systems and processes. The role requires someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident supporting managers and stakeholders across a wide range of HR matters. Working closely with managers, colleagues and the wider People team, the successful candidate will support the smooth delivery of HR processes while maintaining high standards of data accuracy, confidentiality and compliance. Through effective coordination, clear communication and strong attention to detail, this role will help ensure that HR services operate efficiently while supporting managers and employees across the organisation. This role will be on a hybrid working basis, a minimum of 3 days per week in the Aintree office, with the remainder focused on where you can best deliver for your colleagues while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert for key HR processes, ensuring activities are completed accurately and in line with policy and legislation. Support managers in completing HR transactions and navigating HR processes across the employee lifecycle. Manage and resolve HR queries from managers and employees, acting as an escalation point for more complex issues. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure high levels of data integrity across HR systems. Produce HR reports and provide data insights to support People team activity and decision-making. Work with system and technical teams to investigate and resolve HR system issues. Prepare and redact Subject Access Requests in line with GDPR and data protection requirements. Ensure HR processes align with data protection and legislative requirements. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support the development of systems and ways of working across the People function. Support wider HR initiatives and projects as required. What we’d like from you We welcome applications from individuals who are organised, proactive and service-focused, with experience supporting HR processes within a busy operational environment. You will be someone who enjoys working with detail, managing multiple priorities and supporting managers and colleagues across a range of HR matters. Candidates will preferably: Have experience working in an HR Coordinator or similar HR support role. Have hands-on experience using HR Information Systems. Demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Be comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Have strong communication skills and the ability to support and guide stakeholders across the business. Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information. It would also be beneficial if candidates: Have experience using Workday. Have a good working knowledge of UK employment law. Have experience supporting HR processes across the full employee lifecycle. Have experience working within fast-paced or multi-site operational environments. The Role As a People Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering smooth, efficient and high-quality HR operations. You’ll be the go-to expert for HR processes, supporting managers and colleagues across the employee lifecycle and ensuring a positive, consistent people experience. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving and working with detail, while also partnering confidently with stakeholders across the business. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll act as a subject matter expert and process owner for core HR activities, ensuring processes are followed correctly, consistently and in line with policy and legislation. You’ll provide guidance and coaching to managers, helping them complete HR transactions accurately within the HR system. You’ll handle complex HR queries as an escalation point, offering clear, practical advice and signposting to policies where needed. You’ll also support data integrity within the HR system, produce accurate reports and liaise with technical teams to resolve system issues. A key part of the role is preparing and redacting Subject Access Requests in line with data protection requirements, ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. You’ll also support wider HR projects and initiatives, providing coordination and insight to help deliver successful outcomes. What We’re Looking For You’ll have proven experience in an HR Coordinator or similar HR advisory role, with a solid understanding of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be confident using HR information systems and able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a professional, approachable style. You’ll be comfortable handling sensitive information and understand the importance of discretion and data protection.
