Assistant Accountant - £30,000 to £32,000 + Study Support (CIMA/ACCA)

Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing, fast-paced organisation in North Leeds to recruit a new role of Assistant Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either actively studying or looking to begin their CIMA or ACCA qualification as full study support is provided.
You'll be joining a collaborative and energetic finance team where your input will be valued, and your development supported. The role offers exposure to a broad range of responsibilities and the chance to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts
2. Month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Handling accruals and prepayments.
4. Assisting with annual statutory audits.
5. Supporting ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting.
What We're Looking For:
6. Experience in assisting with preparing monthly management accounts.
7. Excellent Excel skills, especially working with large data sets and automated reports.
8. Effective communicator with a proactive and inquisitive mindset.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
Ideal Assistant Accountant Profile:
10. Actively studying or keen to study ACCA or CIMA
11. Experience across various areas of the finance function.
12. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
13. Flexible and adaptable with a "can-do" attitude.
