Finance Director | PE-Backed SaaS Buy & Build | London | Hybrid
Salary: £150k - £180k + Bonus/Equity and Excellent Benefits
We are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS group seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function through a critical growth and scaling phase. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded, senior finance leader to take ownership of strategic financial management, investor relations, and M&A activity across an international, fast-growing business.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will build and scale the finance function, driving strategic financial planning, board reporting, and PE sponsor engagement. You will play a central role in shaping the company’s growth strategy, supporting acquisitions, and ensuring a robust finance infrastructure to scale the business globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead financial strategy, board reporting, and investor communications
* Manage the relationship with the private equity sponsor
* Drive M&A activity: valuation, structuring, and integration
* Oversee debt, covenants, and banking relationships
* Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team
* Enhance systems, processes, and financial infrastructure
* Provide data-driven recommendations to the CEO and board
Essential Background:
* 10–15 years’ experience in finance, including CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance roles
* Proven experience in PE-backed or high-growth, multi-entity SaaS businesses
* Strong experience in debt financing and capital structure management
* Demonstrable M&A (buy-side) experience
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach
