Description
* Supporting the business in delivering projects
* Manage the commercial and technical execution of projects using professional technical expertise and experience in budget, schedule and technical delivery
* Support technical and commercial bids and other business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
* The post holder will report to the Delivery team lead for the execution and delivery of technical work, supported by the Human Resources Manager for all non-technical aspects of working at Apollo
* Performing their day to day duties to the best of their ability and in compliance with Apollo's HSEQ processes and procedures
* Build client relationships and use technical and commercial acumen to add value to grow the business
* Provide support and assistance in the promotion and adoption of Programme & Project Management best practices
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Anticipate, manage and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project
* Produce engineering proposals, reports, quality plans, ITTs and schedules in accordance with Apollo's project commitments as required by Apollo's clients and all interested parties
* Prepare cost reports and revenue forecasting on a weekly basis for managed project
* Use best practice risk management, assessing risks in an informed and considered manner and plan for the mitigation of these risks
* Execute all engineering design and analysis projects in compliance to legislation, codes and standards
* Execute all engineering projects in compliance to Apollo's HSEQ processes and procedures
* Report to and meet with clients and all interested parties on a project basis
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced staff as required
* Work to be normally performed at the Company's offices in Aberdeen but there may be requirements to work at client offices and/or offshore in occasional circumstances and/or other satellite Apollo offices
* Act as an engineering resource on projects where applicable. Work will normally be performed at Apollo's offices but there may be requirements to work in client offices and/or offshore installations under suitable guidance.
Qualifications
* Proven track record delivering engineering projects
* Relevant engineering degree or similar
* Ideally chartered or actively working towards chartered status
* Proven people management and communications skills (written and verbal)
* Technical and leadership abilities with a proven understanding of project facilitation, change and delivery
* Financial, commercial, and contractual awareness
