At Moray Carer Support Service, our aim is to improve the wellbeing of unpaid carers of all ages throughout Moray, to enable them to continue in their caring role, where appropriate, and support them to have a life of their own.
Your new opportunity
Quarriers are looking for two part-time Family Wellbeing Workers to join our team at Moray Carer Support Service. You will work to improve the wellbeing of unpaid carers and enable them to continue their caring roles. As a key support, you will encourage and facilitate opportunities where carers of all ages feel supported to have a life of their own. You will also work closely with potential volunteers, apprentices, or students in areas of development, providing a positive experience for their growth and supporting the service where needed.
Working pattern: We have both full-time temporary opportunities working 37 hours per week. Usual working hours are 9am to 5pm, but you may occasionally be required (pre-arranged) to work outside these hours to meet service needs.
Other duties will include:
* Managing referrals, assessments, and support processes for carers.
* Enabling wellbeing and support programmes for individuals and families.
* Facilitating inclusive opportunities to deliver a carer voice within Moray.

* Empathy and excellent communication skills.
* Excellent team player.
* Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
* Access to a car, as travel across a geographical area will be required.
