About the Role

What You’ll Do

* Develop and deliver inspiring fundraising campaigns and appeals.
* Create engaging donor communications that keep supporters connected.
* Grow our regular giving programme to build long-term sustainability.
* Be out and about in the community, representing Age UK Plymouth at events and activities.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to maximise opportunities.

This role is subject to a DBS check.


About You

* Experience in fundraising or a similar role involving relationship building with corporates and the public.
* Great organisational and IT skills, with an eye for detail.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills – confident, professional, warm, and engaging.
* Confident to talk publicly – deliver presentations and speak to supporters at events.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
* A full driving licence with access to a car and a willingness to drive the work vehicle.

Location: Age UK Plymouth – Mount Gould
Hours: 30 hours per week, flexible days including weekends (average of 4 weekend days per month)
Salary: £24,862.50 FTE (Actual salary £19,890 per annum)
Contract: Permanent
